At CU Photography, we see YOU. We believe each person is unique and that life is beautiful. Our passion is capturing those special moments that highlight your individuality. Let’s celebrate what makes you special and create stunning memories you’ll treasure forever.

When you book a session with me, get ready for a relaxed, fun-filled experience right in the comfort of your favourite place.

I believe the best photos come from moments of genuine laughter and authentic emotions. Feel free to be silly, be yourselves, and let your true personalities shine. My goal is to create an environment where you can be completely at ease, so I can capture the real essence of your moments.

I’ve had a camera in my hands for as long as I can remember. My very first camera was a fluorescent orange Concord 110 which I purchase from McDonalds, yes the fast food restaurant, in the the 1990s.

Since then I have always had my eye on the world around me seeing light cascade across a mountain valley, never looking the same twice, or how massive sequoias, in all their expanse, have the tiniest threads of details in their burnt orange trunks.

Capturing the beauty of our world has always brought me great satisfaction but the greatest gift, the thing that makes me feel the most alive, is catching the wonder and joy of humanity. We all tell a story and each one is worth knowing, witnessing, and abiding in.

Taking a picture isn’t simply about putting a stamp in time and saying “I was here” its about pausing and taking a breath in that moment, feeling the fullness of that time and space, the memory of it. To soak up the sight of candles on your sweet 16, the sounds of laughter when the candles wouldn’t blow out, the smell of smoke from the sparklers, and that enjoyment of being surrounded by those you love and who love you.

That is why I love being a photographer.

Outside of photography I love to wander and explore, preferably on my mountain bike or hiking. I love to play disc golf, having adventures with my niece’s and nephews, and catching up with friends over cheesecake. I also love to travel and take my time learning about a place and it’s people. Recently my hubby and I went to St.Lucia and was marvelled by all the history. It’s a beautiful place with beautiful people.
